Top boffin Scott Reese joins Rosetta Healthcare as ECD

More news from the intriguing world of Rosetta, Publicis Groupe’s ‘customer engagement agency for the Empowered Age.’

image001Industry veteran Scott Reese (left) is joining as executive creative director of its Healthcare Industry Group, reporting to North America CCO Alexander Mahernia and Healthcare managing partner Shannon Hartley. Reese will be based in Rosetta’s Tribeca, NYC, office.

Reese seems a clever chap with a couple of smart degrees and experience at agencies including PG’s Digitas, Digitas Health and Razorfish/Scient/iXL/NetResponse, whatever that may be. He was a founder of Wool Labs, which developed a social cognition research technology used by many big companies.

He even holds two patents: Method, System and Apparatus for Identifying and Parsing Social Media Information for Providing Business Intelligence and Relational Comparison of Television and/or Radio Closed Caption Text to Social Media Comments Based on Geographic Distribution.

Reese says: “Joining the leadership team at Rosetta marks the culmination of many facets of my career, intersecting data science and creativity to drive behavioral change. I am thrilled to join this leading agency dedicated to delivering the ‘what’s next’ in health communications.”

Healthcare is a growing and highly profitable sector for the marcoms industry, more about consultancy than ads. Rosetta, once you hack your way through the language, actually looks like an agency that is capable of taking on the big consultancies – maybe the first one.
