Lou Reed’s legacy to Sony PS4 campaign

Life has its share of swings and roundabouts, as we know, and BBH New York finds itself in the strange position of having a winning commercial – its ‘Perfect Day’ ad for Sony’s PS4 – while being not quite sure if the success is down to the ad (a very good one) or the fact that Perfect Day singer Lou Reed died two weeks after it came out.

So far the ad’s had nearly six million hits on YouTube.

  1. I honestly think that the branding of the PS4 has been the best in years as far as appealing to it’s distinct target audience.
