Crispin Porter takes different mobile tack for Nokia
More tie-ups, this time between Nokia and Microsoft for their Windows phones.
Nokia/Microsoft/Windows does sound a bit like a horse designed by a committee but at least the combo is trying to something a bit different with its advertising.
Here’s another in the campaign from Crispin Porter, this time plugging the new Nokia Lumia 1020.
Basically the premise is that (nearly) everyone who buys a gadget-stuffed mobile is an idiot.
Which is pretty hard to argue with. It’s directed by Roman Coppola of the Coppola film-making clan. Can’t they do anything else? Believe that Father Francis makes pretty good wine too.
