MAA blast from past: Timberland from Leagas Delaney (no, not that one)

Most people will recall Leagas Delaney’s celebrated print work for Timberland but here’s another interesting one from the 40-year old agency, from 2011.

There could be a category in advertising ‘best use of a bear,’ thinking of Canal+ and John West. This is pretty good to0, with a wild boar and some wolves as a bonus.

Oh alright then, here’s the print. Still passes muster although you’d have to say ‘native Americans.’

Update

Gareth Davies has been elevated from managing director to CEO of Leagas Delaney. Davies has been at the agency for just over a year. Before that he spent 12 years at Havas, latterly as group managing partner.
