O2 and VCCP bet on ‘samurai’ England for Rugby World Cup

The Rugby World Cup kicks off at the weekend and England, sponsored by O2, go into battle again. This time, in a new VCCP campaign, bedecked as not-wholly-convincing white-coated Samurai.

O2 is a convincing marketer though and VCCP has done a good job for them over the years. All these pitches for big competitions are a monumental hostage to fortune.

Last time round in 2015 O2 invited us to “make them (England) giants.” The giants failed to make it out of the pool stage, at home.

Better luck this time lads.
