Now WPP rolls out giant campuses to Dusseldorf

WPP is opening another whopper European “campus,” this time in Dusseldorf to house over 2,500 people in 34,000sqm of space. WPP’s BDG architecture+design is designing the interior.

The lease is for 15 years which seems to signify that WPP isn’t planning on getting any smaller. Dusseldorf follows Amsterdam with more planned for Paris, Madrid and Milan. WPP has also taken a lease on the FT’s former South Bank building in London.

Dusseldorf will also include an event space, restaurant and extensive 3,600sqm roof garden, from which to enjoy views of the Rhine.

WPP CEO Mark Read says: Mark Read says: “Our new Düsseldorf campus is not only an investment in the German market, it’s an investment in our people. It provides them with a world-class working environment that inspires them to create their best work for our clients, in the heart of the city’s cultural and creative centre.”
