Hearts & Science boss Ralston-Good in surprise switch to MediaCom

Hearts & Science UK CEO Frances Ralston-Good seems to be on her way to WPP’s MediaCom, surprising as the Omnicom-owned media agency looked like it was on its way after a slow start, winning £40m GoCompare.

Hearts & Science, which purports to be a data-driven media operation (don’t they all these days?) got off to a flying start in the US with AT&T and Procter & Gamble but failed to land P&G in the FMCG giant’s most recent UK media review. Ralston-Good (below) was a top planner with Omnicom’s PHD although she has also worked at MediaCom.

MediaCom is WPP’s biggest media agency – the clear UK market leader – and poaching Ralston-Good is a bold move.

We wait to see if she is replaced at Hearts & Science. Omnicom, which closed its M2M agency a couple of years back, may be wondering if Hearts & Science is needed in the UK.
