Scott recaptures commercial form with new Hennessy epic
Ridley Scott is back on the commercials scene with a vengeance after decades making big budget movies.
The director of Apple\s ‘1984’ and before that Hovis’ rural idyll helmed a recent epic for Turkish Airlines, which we didn’t like much although the filming was exemplary, and now there’s this hymn to posh cognac Hennessy X.0.
It’s really those taste notes you get with mail order wines and never read, brought to life. Ridley being Ridley there’s a bit of Blade Runner and some Dali.

Now if only there was a creative director for Scott to work with, as he did in his days directing for CDP. Most of today’s would probably be terrified
