Kantar chief Eric Salama stabbed in London attack

Eric Salama, CEO of WPP’s Kantar research division, was stabbed in London’s Kew district on Sunday by someone reportedly trying to steal his car. Salama (below) is in hospital where his injuries, although serious, are said not be be life-threatening.

London has been cursed by a wave of knife crime over the past year, many of which are so-called “black on black” crimes, believed to be connected to the trade in drugs.

Salama, 57, is a popular figure, once the youngest member of the WPP main board, and the industry as a whole will wish him a full and speedy recovery.
