The&Partnership lands Carlsberg’s US social media account

UK-based The&Partnership has made what looks like a big breakthrough in the US, winning Carlsberg Group’s social media account. Carlsberg’s brands include Carlsberg, Kronenbourg 1664, Grimbergen and Somersby.

The assignment also includes ‘influencer’ campaigns, one of T&P’s specialities. T&P media agency m/SIX will lead social media strategy.

T&P North America CEO Andrew Bailey says: “Carlsberg Group is one of the world’s pre-eminent brewers and we are pleased to have been selected to support their increasing efforts in the US market, We look forward to working together to help them win new fans across the full spectrum of beer and hard cider enthusiasts.”

Carlsberg says this is its first “significant social media effort” in the US and the first time it has hired an outside agency for social media.

T&P kicks off with a ‘Timeless Pairings’ social campaign for Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc wheat beer (above), the official beer of New York Fashion Week.
