Long-serving Wieden+Kennedy creative Joe Staples (below), who left in March, is joining Mother’s nascent LA operation as ECD and Partner.

Mother, under new global boss Michael Wall, has expanded in LA as it has retrenched in New York. Big west coast tech-based clients appear to be keener on indie creative agencies than the traditional agency holding companies.
