Fallon’s Collins to be new boss of Leo Burnett (and Fallon)

Publicis Groupe is shunting its Fallon agency from Saatchi & Saatchi to Leo Burnett as it replaces Burnett CEO Paul Lawson – who’s off to be boss of Y&R London – with Fallon’s Gareth Collins (left).

Publicis boss Arthur Sadoun says: “Gareth has done an amazing job at Fallon. There’s a story we like there. He has proved himself to be a great leader.”

This is all a bit undignified for Fallon, once one of London’s hottest agencies featuring the likes of Michael Wall (now at Mother) and Laurence Green who recently sold his agency 101 to Mullenlowe. Fallon recently lost its main account Cadbury to VCCP.
