Facebook and Fox are about to launch six-second ads (to a mostly believing ad world no doubt) meaning, among other things, that Trevor Beattie was almost right a few years ago when he predicted five-second ads would take over.
Mcgarrybowen, which handles Honda’s European ads, has been charged with promoting the Japanese carmaker’s whole new range in a seemingly generous 30 seconds but it’s quite a task all the same (less than five seconds each). So it’s ‘Over the Rainbow’ time.
Not bad, the music makes it. But you can’t really see the cars.
