Under fire VW wraps itself in the American flag

Nobody loves arch polluter Volkswagen much these days but the canny Teutons know a bit about advertising and its agencies are doing their best to ride to the rescue.

Recently we had an outstanding ad from DDB Paris (below) and now Deutsch LA is leaving no tear duct unplumbed with this ad, ‘America,’ for the new Atlas seven seater.

All tosh of course – but much decent advertising is, under it all.

Bet the S&G song cost a dollar or two but it does the job.
