Continuing our noble tradition of ‘you read it here first (almost)’ we can reveal that the much-anticipated John Lewis Christmas ad from adam&eveDDB – which debuts on the JL YouTube channel on Friday – features a boy visiting the man on the moon, to the tune of Oasis’ half the world away (below).
Other sources tell us that the film also features an A380 stuffed to the gunwales with transgender Transylvanian hookers – but we’re not sure about this bit.
Apparently Noel and Liam’s anthem was not the first choice. We don’t know what that was either but, given A&E’s predilection for a bit of dark, maybe it was this.
