101 makes breakthrough with new Corsa campaign
101 is one of a gaggle of newish London agencies trying to make their mark – including a number of US imports like Droga5 and Mcgarrybowen – but it appears to have made a breakthrough of sorts with this campaign, ‘A-Z,’ for Vauxhall’s new Corsa.
The Corsa’s an important model for Vauxhall; once popular with boy racers who couldn’t afford a Golf GTI, now bering positioned as a family car too. Each letter in the ad is another rung on the ladder of life, it seems. So there you are.
But it’s still a lively ad, with perky direction from Bob Harlow for Somesuch.
