The best ads of 2014

So, you’re watching a big game on the box, the last quarter, you’re on the edge of your seat, there’s a knock on the door. Geez. You open the door and there’s this really annoying guy trying to sell you something.

The chances of you buying are pretty slim. This scenario plays out on your TV every night.

Some annoying advertiser interrupting your viewing trying to sell you something, why they think we are interested at all times in their products is beyond me.

If an advertiser is going to interrupt me, he better give me something in return, a little gift, like entertainment, a smile, or even a laugh.

These spots below, did just that, they interrupted my viewing lots, but I forgive them.

Southern Comfort: immaculate casting, wardrobe, the works.

Dollar Shave Club: The guy getting tasered, hilarious.

VW: Road Trip

Direct TV: Creepy, bad taste, love it.

Geico: Love Ickey Woods, the women are priceless.

VW: Crying baby. Proof that if you do it right, it never gets boring. Run it ’til the cows come home.
