Virgin Media’s broadband is still pants
For those of you who are interested – fellow sufferers probably – I thought I’d report that, after an all-day outage on Friday – Virgin Media is up to its old tricks with another one today.
And this time they disabled the customer services phone line, presumably because the poor saps were getting volleys of abuse from disenchanted customers.
So we had a series of highly inaccurate pre-recorded messages: the first one said the engineer was there and it would all be fixed by 5.30pm; the second one that “we have identified the fault and our engineer is on the way – should be OK by 11.50.”
