GE (once General Electric) is a pretty mystifying company; basically it makes big, expensive things for industry but, at various times, has done much else besides.
When it was run by ‘Neutron Jack’ Welch we sort of knew what it did – fired ten per cent of managers each year, for a start.
Anyway BBDO, which has worked for the company since it made just electricity, has been charged with telling us what GE actually does – and it’s chosen the eyes and thoughts of a child to do so (Neutron Jack wouldn’t have bought this, I fancy).
Hmm. A work in progress, methinks.
