London agency Leagas Delaney is doing its bit to help independent cafes and eateries in the Fitzrovia area of central London (left), the bit between Tottenham Court Road and where it becomes Noho, just north of Oxford Street.
The agency has created a free app called, rather enigmatically, The Wheel of Om Nom and workers and residents can choose from 30 independent establishments featured on the app.
Leagas managing director James Hayhurst says: “We’re proud of our status as an independent agency and we wanted to display some of that by supporting the independent eateries and lunch venues in and around Fitzrovia. Their individual character brings colour and diversity to the neighbourhood. And because they care so much about their businesses, they really care about looking after their customers. We hope this app helps people to start making the most of them.”
