Ogilvy New York debuts post-Cannes Lions ‘thank you’ film for buoyant Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola has been mentioned as one of the clients that might object to the PublicCom merger as it has some business with Publicis Groupe agencies while Omnicom toils on behalf of Pepsi.

But the Cokeheads are clever these days, using an extended agency roster of creative shops plus the odd biggie – one of which is WPP’s Ogilvy, proud owner of 100 plus Lions from this year’s Cannes adfest.

And Coke won the advertiser of the year gong at Cannes this year after thirty years of trying.

So Ogilvy New York has produced this film thanking the people that helped including, of course, its ‘fans,’

The Wearable Movie from The Wearable Movie on Vimeo.

All this Coca-Cola ‘Open Happiness’ stuff could easily become rather indigestible but somehow or other it doesn’t (or not yet). And much of the credit must go to Ogilvy.
