Nike piles on the power to celebrate 25 years of W+K Portland’s ‘Just Do It’

It’s not every day that you come across a campaign that’s lasted for a quarter of a century (obviously) but Nike is celebrating 25 years of Wieden+Kennedy’s ‘Just Do It’ with a testosterone-packed special from the Portland powerhouse – ‘Possibilities.’

The Nike brand first saw the light of day in 1978 (before that it was called Blue Ribbon Sports apparently). W+K first popped up in 1982, the same year as Bartle Bogle Hegarty. How long’s ‘Vorsprung Durch Technik’ been running?

Which just goes to show – what exactly? That these oldies are right to keep taking the tablets? But that’s probably not a very wise recommendation in the sport business.
