We keep hearing that brands want to play a bigger role in our lives (not entirely sure this is a good thing) and UK supermarket Sainsbury’s and agency AMV/BBDO are trying to worm their way into our collective consciousness by offering a sort of first aid kit for the summer holidays, ‘Sainsbury’s Bumper Book of Summer,’ full of ‘Boredom Busting Ideas.’
Well it does look, finally, as though we’re going to have a summer so I suppose the little darlings will put down their video games/tablets and decamp to the garden or the park to enjoy the sunshine. In which case Sainsbury’s might be on to a winner.
So might the John Lydon pension fund, judging by the soundtrack.
