Nationwide returns to TV with another nicely-spoken assault on those horrible banks

Nationwide and Miss Sexy Voiceover are back in this new film from 18 Feet & Rising, essaying an origami theme and polite kick in the ribs to those horrible banks.

Building society Nationwide is a good thing (although it takes what seem like a month to clear cheques), dishing out new mortgages rather generously we read. Agency 18 Feet & Rising also possesses the considerable virtue of being able to make a clear point in a short time without battering the audience.

The whole UK financial sector is showing belated signs of life just now despite being battered by politicians who don’t seem to realise that you can’t shrink balance sheets (ie get smaller) while lending more.
