I read somewhere recently that Samsung spent $11.6bn on advertising last year and it looks as though it may top that this, with a large chunk going on its heroic effort to persuade customers all over the world that they really want/need a smart TV.
A large chunk of the aforementioned large chunk must have gone on this epic opus ‘King of TV City’ from UK agency CHI.
I don’t usually like these numbers much; they tend to turn out looking like gaming ads. But if you’re going to try to sell an interactive cum cinematic experience then this makes a pretty good fist of it.
