Mars and AMV/BBDO have exhumed Audrey Hepburn for this new commercial for Galaxy – ‘Why have cotton when you can have silk?’
The film, showing Audrey being seduced by a cheeky Italian, was directed by Rattling Stick’s Daniel Kleinman, features loads of CGI stuff and apparently took a year to make. The video seems to be mucking up our page layout – spooky eh?
It’s all very nice of course but aren’t these efforts a bit, well, lifeless? And would classy Audrey have been picked up on a bus? Her character in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, whence the music in this comes from, was actually a hooker in the original although you wouldn’t know it from the film.
