Oslo agency Futatsu Industries tries the healthy approach to sex shop advertising
You can’t keep those Scandiwegians down: they seem to be supplying creative directors for every big US agency and Danish agency &So is the front runner for the big awards with its ‘Made From Cool’ campaign for Jack & Jones.
Now another lively outfit, Futatsu Industries in Oslo, has produced an interesting campaign for Kondomeriet, described as Norway’s largest adult retailer, with the theme: ‘Invest in your relationship while you’ve still got one.’ Featuring a blonde who’s looking for another one (at least).
Creative director Aris Theophilakis says: “Kondomeriet is actually a neat and friendly place with young and friendly staff and light and modern premises. They have for years been running silly sex jokes ads featuring vibrating toys, but decided to move on in order to recruit those who found those things a bit awkward and intimidating. So we developed a strategy based on the the fact that a healthy sex life can reinvigorate your relationship.”
