JWT produces a monster for Shell’s Nitro+

Back in the day drivers used to shovel all sorts of unguents into their motors to try to improve performance. Shell and agency J. Walter Thompson (which we’re supposed to call it these days) are turning back the clock with a TV and cinema campaign, ‘Stay Ahead,’ for Shell’s V-Power Nitro+ magic potion (try asking for that in Halfords).

But they’ve produced a very nice film, showing the ‘engine gunk and corrosion’ monster pursuing a Beemer. Timed to go out in cinemas with the new Avengers movie, which will doubtless feature still more ‘orrible monsters.
