AMV BBDO launches digital-first global ‘Genius’ campaign for Pepsi Max

Pepsi doesn’t really do ads these days, it does events even if some of them are a touch contrived.

So for the new Pepsi Max ‘Genius’ campaign from AMV BBDO it’s decided to launch ‘drone football’ on some lads in Barcelona.

The drone lights up the night-time game and pinches the ball at the end, so it’s not a match between drones. Just as well maybe, as some of those trigger-happy drone pilots in Florida might have become involved.

This is Pepsi Max’s first global campaign apparently, leading with digital in all its multifarious guises.

If this is your thing, it’s done just about as well as it can be – as you’d expect from AMV.
