Now Lebara joins Ace of Hearts bandwagon

At this rate Ace of Hearts, the London creative agency formed by Richard Brim, Martin Beverley and Polly McMorrow will have to abandon its cosy Soho premises for something bigger. So far this week it’s put on two accounts: global online design platform Canva and now the rather better-known budget mobile service Lebara. The latter against reported competition from St Luke’s and Uncharted.

Nobody’s saying anything on the record, which is rather peculiar, but the new agency (formed in June 2025) clearly has a sprinkling of secret sauce, some emanating from CCO Brim. The agency has also been soundly set up with backing from Germany’s Serviceplan, which has built a formidable international network without many in the UK noticing.

The next issue for Ace of Hearts is scaling: sometimes a really big account gets such agencies moving (as Waitrose has Wonderhood Studios) others find even bigger accounts like Sainsbury’s and Tesco a becalming factor as they mop up the agency’s resources.

Usually at this time of year Brim, is his old role as CCO of adam&eveDDB, would be busily engaged in trying to produce another epic for John Lewis. He may be grateful for a few months off.
