Samsung launches do-it-yourself ‘Holiday Dreams’ extravaganza through R/GA

Samsung is pushing the boat out this Christmas, running its first ‘holiday’ campaign in the UK and now launching this US extravaganza – ‘Holiday Dreams’ – through agency R/GA in the US.

Made by a technical cast of thousands, using 74 different Samsung ‘devices,’ from a watch to a giant curved TV.

It is all very clever – and it’s had over 5m views on YouTube so people obviously like it – but would it have looked any different using conventional animation?

Sometimes it seems as though digital is just another way of reaching the same place.
