W+K concocts Maynards ad comeback in 20 seconds

Maynards Bassetts is launching its first big TV campaign in 20 years, ‘Tasty Intermissions’ from Wieden+Kennedy. There’s a series of 20-second spots rolling out over six months, The first being ‘Chunky’ for wine gums.

‘Squidgy’ for jelly babies:

And ‘Chewy’ for Bertie’s Jelly Mix.

You have to hand it to W+K, they don’t take the easy way out do they? Producing a multi-product long-running TV campaign on what probably isn’t the biggest media budget in the world (although the ads must have cost a bit) is quite an achievement.
