David Beckham has ambitions to be an actor, it seems, as he enters his fifth decade.
And here he is, playing himself, on a shoot for H&M Modern Essentials, dealing with the annoying presence of American actor/comedian Kevin Hart who wants to be just like DB, although he could hardly be more dissimilar. And Becks, travelling from his customary geniality to growing irritation, ain’t bad.
It’s the first major campaign from adam&eveDDB for H&M and shows that the current stormtroopers of UK advertising, now the proud possessors of the Lloyds Bank account, can do content as deftly as ads.
But does this kind of stuff work? Search me..but at least it’s different.
