W+K produces spooky tour de force for 3

The summer’s supposed too be a pretty fallow time for big new campaigns – apart from all the back to school ads – but there seems to be lot of good stuff coming from London agencies. Maybe they’re finally getting the knack of this digital-enabled content lark.

Here’s a beauty from Wieden+Kennedy for 3’s new LG G4 phone, featuring its new spokes-muppet Jackson on Blair Witch Project duty down in those spooky woods.

Why is the penny finally dropping with content? Maybe it’s because it’s dawned on people that longer form vids are perfect for artfully disguised product demos – if you harness some imagination too. It really is a case of new-style old-style.
