Facebook and IKEA discover joys of Cosplay community

These days if you have a conversation you seem to become part of a community (which enrages my friend George Parker, among others) but a pretty obvious community is Cosplay, people who like dressing up in outlandish costumers together.

And they’ve been latched onto by advertisers.

Here they are in Wieden+Kennedy HQ’s latest effort for Facebook:

And a very neat IKEA ‘Bedroom Story’ from Singapore:

Hope the Cosplayers are being paid for their efforts (in the case of the first ad I bet they’re not).
