MAA ad of the Week: GPT-Live from VCCP
AI is depicted as the grim reaper that’s going to destroy advertising (and much else) that depends on the pathetic efforts of humans to produce ideas and execute them.
Yet some of the best recent conventional non-AI ads have been for the over-mighty technorati. Mother for Anthropic, Isle of Any for a crypto outfit at Cannes and now VCCP for a ChatGPT bot that connects with real people (in this case three feisty old ladies.)
We know the techies are the ones with the money (as John Hegarty put it at Cannes, they’ve even captured the beach.) Is the ad business marching to extinction hoping the invoice gets paid in full first?
