Ogilvy steers US football domination bid

Give those Americans an inch and they’ll take a yard: not content with hosting the FIFA World Cup they’re now trying to take over the entire beautiful game.

The US isn’t going to win the tournament of course (despite you-know-who’s intervention) but seemingly honorary American Lionel Messi – who plays for David Beckham’s Inter Miami – well might with Argentina. And here he is hosting Ogilvy’s new campaign for Major League Soccer (MLS) saying the World Cup in America is just the start, they’re taking the whole game over. With a contribution from the inescapable Beckham – traitor.

We’re living in a period where American money is taking over everything, dominating everything. Can’t the greedy so-and-so’s leave football alone?
