Now new biz machine VCCP wins Sekonda
Most of the ad world may be taking a break from the business (if not the blinding heat) but some things never change: Britain’s VCCP keeps picking up business.
Now VCCP Blue has won the integrated account for Sekonda watches from Lucky Generals and media agency Kite Factory. VCCP dipped a toe in media a few years ago and nothing much seemed to happen. But it hung in there and now offers a credible alternative to the big holdco-owned network media agencies (whatever they’re called this week.)
Marketing director Janet Gough says the brand was looking for a “challenger proposition” and that VCCP Blue “more than delivered in the pitch process”.
“Integrating media services into the agency via VCCP Media to benefit from the agency’s integrated ethos and systems made absolute sense.”
VCCP Blue MD Roly Darby says: “Sekonda’s challenger ambition perfectly matches our mindset at VCCP, and by fusing our creative, media, and production smarts, we will bring our core philosophy to life, because it only works if it all works.”
VCCP Blue handles smaller, “challenger” accounts.
