Havas lures Slough from OgilvyOne to head new GSK deal

Havas has poached OgilvyOne global managing partner Chris Slough to head its GSK digital and content business. Slough (below) previously worked on flagship OgilvyOne accounts British Airways digital and Nestlé.

At Havas Slough will work on GSK’s consumer healthcare business in London, New York and Singapore, spanning new brands in oral health, pain relief, respiratory categories, skin health and nutrition. Slough will be global business partner on GSK.

Havas chairman and CEO Yannick Bolloré says: “I am very excited about our growing partnership with GSK and Chris as the new global lead. GSK has tasked us with helping to grow key areas of their business — an exciting and dynamic challenge for our team.

“Chris’s extensive experience managing and building global blue-chip brands across all regions and markets makes him an ideal partner to lead the GSK team at Havas. He shares our same client-centric approach, collaborating with clients to accelerate business, and will be key in bringing our disciplines together for the benefit of GSK.”

Slough says: “Havas has defined a new and super exciting network proposition. The work now in place with GSK is world class and with the Havas Village established in London’s Kings Cross, there is real momentum in the business. It’s a great time to be joining.”
