Best ads of 2015: Ogilvy’s #LeBigSwim for Kronenbourg, DawsonPickering for Collect+

Casting Eric Cantona for Kronebourg was inspired – obvious in a way but asking Eric to send himself up takes a degree of bravery.

He reappeared earlier this summer in some spoof documentaries for the beer brand, promising to rise to a challenge by swimming the English Channel to ‘Britayne.’

Ogilvy London isn’t exactly renowned for its irreverent humour but it must be there, struggling to get out from under all those big global accounts.

At the other end of the agency scale newbie DawsonPickering combines newbieness with aged craft skills, strikingly exemplified in this print campaign for click and collect outfit Collect+.
