Pilgrim’s Choice for Karmarama and D5’s Studzinski

I see that Droga5 London ECD Nick Studzinski is off to Karmarama to be its new CCO and an equity partner.

Hardly a surprise as he was probably under-employed at D5 London, which doesn’t appear to have much, if any, business.

Waiting to greet him is a new campaign for Pilgrim’s Choice cheese, which seems to hang on a wheeze to get the public to vote for the soundtrack via a website.

Well crowd-sourcing is all the rage these days, so why not?

First, though, you need an an ad that engages people. So, here goes:

Isn’t this a case of putting the cart – the online idea – before the horse: the ad?

Unappealing factory workers jigging around to improbable music is never a good idea; although it’s as old as TV advertising itself.

Plenty to work on there then Nick.

MAA creative scale: 2.
