Hive and CHI push smart homes as the new normal

Here’s the latest instalment in CHI’s campaign for Centrica’s “smart home” device Hive, showing how a mother can check on the whereabouts of her daughter by using the Hive Camera app. Allowing both parties to get on with living it seems.

I was given another make of one of these which I occasionally look at guiltily (it’s still in its box).

What if daughter’s up to something she shouldn’t with the boyfriend? That should play well on the audio.

But it’s a decent campaign, set to move to the US and Canada, positioning smart home thingies as the new normal (God help us).
