Last year’s AMV BBDO Christmas campaign for Currys PC World starring Jeff Goldblum won buckets of awards at all the big UK awards shows.
This year’s effort – ‘Get It Right’ – is a more modest affair, seeming to owe a little to Harvey Nichols’ ‘Sorry I spent it on myself’ although AMV won’t thank me for saying so.
But gifting (did I really write that? Xmas is getting to me already) is a tricky business, especially when contemplating buying tech stuff you don’t understand for younger people who, you presume, do. And these ads capture that accurately enough.
