Tesco reveals a glimpse of new BBH TV campaign

Tesco’s first major campaign through BBH breaks on Sunday, bringing back the ‘Every Little Helps’ line with a couple of ads featuring Ruth Jones as headmisstress and mum Jo, Ben Miller as dad Roger and Will Close as son Freddie. One ad plugs Tesco’s new Brand Guarantee offer and the other its ‘one-in-front’ promise to open another till if there’s a queue.

Tesco group brand director Michelle McEttrick says: “For the last year we’ve been putting customers right back at the heart of everything we do, from improvements in customer service, to launching our new Brand Guarantee. So this new campaign presented us with the ideal opportunity to showcase some of those ‘little helps’ we aim to provide customers with each day.

“Tesco has always been at its best when putting customers first and we hope the new campaign demonstrates our efforts to serve customers a little better every day. We’re really excited to hear what our customers and colleagues think of the new campaign.”

That’s about all we can tell you. The films, directed by Danny Kleinman, are still being edited (sounds a bit squeaky) but we’ll show them when we can.
