FCB Inferno launches Valspar paints in the UK

The number two paint brand in the US, Valspar, is launching in the UK in the UK through 360 B&Q stores.

FCB Inferno has produced a perky launch campaign (so I guess that makes it an account win too) featuring those constant factors in our lives: graffiti knitter Deadly Knitshade, the “flamboyant” Sue Kreitzman (who?) and the owner of neon light shop God’s Own Junkyard. The V/O is by Imelda Staunton, who I have heard of, but I think all such V/Os are by Judi Dench…

Anyway, the message is: ‘stop blending in and colour outside the lines. Say hello to Valspar.’

Quite traditional really, Deadly Knitshade or no. But none the worse for that.

FCB Inferno is building a reputation for getting the job done. MAA creative scale:6
