Harvey Nichols and DDB summon up spirit of Scooge

Our correspondent Ebenezer Scrooge would doubtless approve of this Harvey Nichols ‘I spent it on myself’ gift collection.

Agency Adam&Eve/DDB certainly believes in pulling out the stops for the upmarket London bazaar, not always happily as with its model wetting herself at the prospect of the summer sales.

The agency’s cutesy Christmas animation for John Lewis is still racking up YouTube hits (nearly ten million so far) and also providing interesting creative fodder for others, like these opponents of the UK government’s botched badger cull (it believes you can eradicate TB in cattle by killing badgers who are accused of carrying the disease).

Which is a compliment of sorts, I suppose.
