VCCP’s challenger offshoot VCCP Blue has won a pitch for the Royal National Institute of Blind People. The plan is to launch an integrated campaign for the charity next year, with a remit to articulate what the charity stands for and help achieve its mission of “building a better world for blind and partially sighted people.”
The win comes only a couple of months after the agency won Macmillan Cancer Support, proving that VCCP is about more than just the big accounts like Barclays, Ikea and Cadbury.
The RNIB’s last campaign was by Good Agency a couple of years ago, and it has also worked with T&P which created the “See the person campaign” (pictured).

Nina Walker, chief engagement officer at RNIB, said: “VCCP demonstrated an exceptional understanding of our work and our clear purpose-led vision for the future. the partnership is expected to help RNIB extend its role in society and ensure that it is recognised and understood by a wider public than ever before.”
Roly Darby, managing director of VCCP Blue, said: “RNIB is a charity with a vital legacy and our goal is to get the charity – and the important work that it’s doing – into people’s living rooms. It’s a privilege to insert RNIB and the topic of sight loss into the national conversation.”
The charity has also recently concluded a media review which was won by The Kite Factory.
