This spot for Carrefour by Publicis France provides a stylish look at the evolution of consumption and society over six decades, represented by one family. A persistent “dad joke” provides the thread, and naturally there’s a tear-jerking moment at the end.

It’s yet another ad that takes a romp through the decades, but Carrefour is celebrating its 60th birthday this year, so it does have a good excuse for wallowing in nostalgia.
