Droga5 takes conservative route in new Barclaycard effort
Every big creative agency becomes something of a department store in the end: some big showcase accounts and others which pay the rent (and the profits.) The creative work usually reflects this.
Droga5 in London seems to be moving finally into the (relatively) big time with recent wins including GoCompare and Barclaycard.
Its debut work for GoCompare attracted mixed reviews, with more than a few complaints it seems as Gio Compario tried to get real.
Its debut for Barclaycard was stand-out weird but now, wisely perhaps, it’s retrenching somewhat with this workmanlike effort showing a couple doing their own thing with the same bit of plastic.
Does the job, there seems to be some benefit in using Barclaycard.
