Huawei comes out fighting with good works blitz
You may have heard of Huawei (pronounced wah-way), it’s not Donald Trump’s favourite technology company or that of many security types around the world.
Trouble is (from their point of view) the Chinese giant has lots of capability others don’t. So this corporate effort is pretty timely, telling us how Huawei brings together “technology and humanity to unlock human potential.”
What’s not to like? Depends on where you’re sitting, of course.
Huawei consumer business group Western Europe CEO Walter Ji says: “At Huawei we want to use technology to build bridges between people, not walls. Regardless of who we are, or where we come from, we believe that technology can and should be used to make the world a better place. Over the past few years we have wholeheartedly committed to achieving this vision, using our advanced technology, and in many cases our highly intelligent smartphones.”
MAA creative scale: as a piece of PR it’s timely and pretty convincing. Not the whole story maybe but PR…so 7.
